Since Chrysler Hall opened in 1972, it has been the premier performing arts center in Hampton Roads.
It welcomes more than 150,000 patrons every year and several regionally based organizations call it home, such as the Virginia Ballet and Virginia Symphony Orchestra.

Dirty Dancing (November 17-19)
Seen by millions around the world, this production brings the story of Baby and Johnny to life as they experience the most challenging and triumphant summer of their lives. London’s Sunday Express stated “This crowd-pleasing stage adaptation hits the jackpot,” and it features hit songs such as “Hungry Eyes” and (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.”
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone In Concert (November 25 & 26)
Fun for Harry Potter fans of all ages, this concert features the Virginia Symphony Orchestra which will perform the songs from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. During the performance, the movie will play in high-definition on a large screen.
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music (December 15-17)
For fifty-two years, The Sound of Music has delighted fans across the globe. This brand-new stage production has been called “Sparkling, fresh, and lively” by the Los Angeles Times, as the story of the Von Trapp family will once again entertain audiences with songs such as “Edelweiss” and “My Favorite Things.”
