Fall Events in Hampton Roads

Cold weather is here, but that doesn’t have to mean sitting indoors. Hampton Roads offers a number of fun events for locals. Grab your family or some friends, and head out to some of the areas biggest events.

Hunt Club Farm Harvest Fair (Virginia Beach)

This 30-acre farm is located just a few miles from Virginia Beach’s ocean front, and during the fall becomes one of Hampton Roads’ biggest fall festivals. Pick a pumpkin, go on a hayride, stop by the petting zoo, and more. This is a great way to spend a fall day, especially those with children. The fair will run until this Sunday, November 1st, so don’t miss out!

Chelsea West Fest (Norfolk)

On November 14th, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, come out and enjoy local food, music, and beer at the Chelsea West Fest. The event is free and open to the public and features a variety of local restaurants and musicians. Not only is this a good time, it’s also for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will go to a local charity, the Hope House Foundation.

Oyster & South Festival (Chesapeake)

On November 21st, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Greenbrier Farms will host the Oyster & South Festival, a festival dedicated to oysters and other delicious seafood. Come out, eat fresh food from local restaurants, enjoy live entertainment, and have fun!
