Go to Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream and Early Halloween Fun

Scarecrow among straw and pumpkins. Decorations for Halloween

The weather is starting to cool down, and the leaves are beginning to fall. Grab your family or friends and head over to Busch Gardens, just a short drive away from Waypoint Apartments. Start a new autumn tradition at their Howl-O-Scream event, where you can explore the gardens and enjoy spooky activities.

The Count’s Spooktacular

Starting October 6, the gardens have a special Sesame Street Halloween event for the kids called The Count’s Spooktacular. The Count’s Spooktacular runs on weekends from 10:00 in the morning through 5:00 in the evening. Kids under the age of nine are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes and take part in a parade.

Bring your camera to capture the parade and other fun activities such as the hay maze. Don’t forget treat bags as there will be trick-or-treating throughout the park. The scary Halloween events begin at 6:00 and run until the park closes through the end of October.

Howl-O-Scream

After the younger guests leave, it’s time for the adults to enjoy Howl-O-Scream. Some of this year’s highlights include two new escape rooms. There are also a total of seven haunted houses and six terror zones located throughout the park. This event begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 11:59 on Saturday nights. If you want to go on Sunday, the park closes at 10:00 in the evening. The Halloween fun ends when the park closes on Sunday, October 28.
